Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time available through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.
Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Bundle Tiers
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
Intermediate Package
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.
Full Package
For a minimum of $30, the comprehensive package includes all the following:
- Fractal Terrains 3+
- Dungeon Designer 3
- Urban Planning Software
- Cosmographer 3
- Perspectives 3

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. The Bundle Filters option appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
