The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
