It's tough for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

It needed until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament should hear.

In recent days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
