The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the city.

Heads-up: Key plot points for Episode 3 of the new season lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the urban center, with Cyd pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in the powerful family could help the group enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Explorers and Strategists tables.

Fans can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
